J.I. Islamic Science & Technology Institute, was established in 2016 in Shamirkhil, Langalkot,Comilla,Bangladesh.The institute's mission is to transform the lives of individuals who have dropped out of the conventional education system by empowering them with technical education. It aims to create a skilled workforce for the country.
The institute's primary objective is to provide free training to unemployed or disadvantaged youth in Bangladesh and extend its services to foreign workers. It has gained a great reputation both nationally and internationally for its high-quality training.
Initially offering trade courses, the institute expanded its operations in 2021 to reach people from different parts of the country. It offers a wide range of officially recognized and accredited trade courses, including Marine/Shipyard, Civil/Construction, Garment, and IT.
The institute operates under the approval of esteemed government organizations, including the Bangladesh Government Technical Education Board, the National Skill Development Authority - Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment, and the Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training. These affiliations demonstrate the institute's commitment to providing standardized technical education.
An important milestone for the institute was achieving internationally recognized ISO certification, highlighting its adherence to global quality standards in education and strengthening its reputation.
